Why the Manchester Metrolink?

Well, my local tram network is something I’ve taken interest in recently, but all anyone seems to talk about are future extensions or the network’s history, and honestly, I don’t blame them. There isn’t much information regarding the Metrolink that is easily accessible.

As you’ll see by looking at my content and posts, there’s so much to talk about — so much that isn’t documented.

Just to clarify: This website isn’t official, I don’t work with the Metrolink, nor am I an expert in this kind of thing in any respect (I’m still learning about how a railway network operates) so think of this as a tram enthusiast’s diary — notes from someone who enjoys noticing the small details.

Every so often, I’ll post something about the Metrolink — a little thing that I find interesting that doesn’t have that much written documentation or coverage online.
